We are now offering a new service at the clinic: CryoPen Cryosurgery.
We can treat all benign skin lesions, which are now no longer treated by the NHS (it was stopped in November 2018). Any lesions over 6mm and all warts will need checking by a medical practitioner and before treatment we will require evidence with a doctor’s note. Moles are not included in the treatment.
Benign skin lesions treated include:
- Skin tags
- Seborrheic keratosis
£65 per session for 1 lesion and £15 for each additional lesion.
Maximum of 5 lesions: fixed price of £100
How does Cryosurgery work?
Cryosurgery is an advanced freezing innovation that is fact, effective, and safe for the removal of benign skin lesions on the face and body.
CryoPen Cryosurgery devices deliver an ultracold jet of high-pressure nitrous oxide directly on to skin lesions. The nitrous oxide destroys the skin tissue by freezing the intercellular fluid and forming ice shards that rupture the cell membrane, destroying the cells. The ultra-cold nitrous oxide cuts off the blood supply during the freezing process, ensuring the client’s safety during the process.
