Indian Head Massage TREATMENTS ACROSS MEDWAY, KENT. Call 01634 817242

Indian head massage has its origins in Ayurveda medicine. Ayurveda literally meaning “Science of Life.” It has been practised in India for over a thousand years, mainly by women who used oils to give strength and lustre to their hair.

Today, Indian head massage is better known for relieving tension and stress. The massage increases the blood supply to the head, neck, face and shoulders. These areas are particularly prone to storing stress and tension when the circulation is poor.

Indian head massage is a touch therapy. It works by easing tension and fibrous knots in the major muscle groups in the head, neck, face and shoulders. As the massage progresses it can increase feelings of relaxation and peace.

I trained in 2001 as an Indian Head Massage Therapist. I have seen many people benefit from this treatment and its relaxation techniques. Almost everyone can benefit and use this treatment to help them relax as it has very few contraindications.
