Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber.

I qualified as a general nurse in the 1980’s and then went on to train as a mental health nurse and have spent most of my working life in the NHS developing expertise in different specialities including A&E, mental health and acute medicine. I also worked in the USA for a year. I qualified as a nurse prescriber in 2012.

Stay Young was established over 8 years ago and in this time I have developed a lot of expertise in this speciality. Aesthetics is about making subtle changes to how we look. I don’t have a magic wand but I do have the tools and expertise to enable me to enhance the way you look and make you feel great about yourself again.

Treatments include: dermal fillers, wrinkle relaxing injections, PDO thread lift, PRP vampire facelift, cheek enhancement, lip augmentation to name a few.

I am passionate about working in aesthetics and for me safety always comes first. The procedures are not risk free. As with any medical intervention, complications are uncommon but can occur. This is why it is so important to be in the hands of a qualified medical practitioner. As a nurse I have a professional obligation to protect my customers by maintaining the highest standards of care possible. This means that following treatment, if you have a concern, no matter how small it may be, I will be there for you.

Education and ongoing learning is important to me. I often attend conferences and training courses in order to update my skills and keep abreast of changes. I am a member of the ACE complications group and the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses.

Consultation appointments are free. They usually last between 15-20 minutes and it gives me the opportunity to meet you, get to know you, put you at ease and discuss your areas of concern. I am very honest with customers and If I feel that a particular treatment is not recommended then I will say.

To all the young ladies aged 18 and under, I will not be able to offer you any treatments. You probably look fab as you are.
